you cant go wrong with CHANCE.
november 3rd marks the release of the anticipated h&m x kenzo collaboration. i love the kenzo brand, but ya’ll know how I feel about these h&m x___________ collaborations. i HATE IT. i love the idea, its genius, but to actually snag something as simple as a scarf, is always a hassle. so, needless to say, I’ll be sitting this one out.
what i must admit, is the marketing behind this collab, has been so dope that I almost want to elbow a few chicks for a t-shirt (jk about the elbow). photography by jean- paul goude, featuring celebrities like chance the rapper, and iman… OBSESSED.

Alexander Wang x H&M
So, I thought I would be a dedicated fashionista (Ugh, I hate that word) and wake up at 6am, be out of the house by 6:30, hop on the train and be outside of my favorite NYC H&M by 7. Just in time to get an “ok” spot on line, before doors open at 8am for the most anticipated Alexander Wang and H&M collaboration. But then, I thought about it, and got anxiety remembering the dreadful day Isabel Marant for H&M was released. So instead, I’ll just be dreaming about my coulda, shoulda, woulda’s.
But, I NEED this sweatshirt.
Short Scuba Top
Honestly, I don’t normally get caught up in the mass production retailers collaborating with high end fashion designers, but the moment RIHANNA hit the streets in head to toe Alexander Wang x H&M, I wanted at least one piece from the collection.
I don’t have the motivation to stand on line for hours, just to walk out of H&M with a keychain from the collection. However I will be stalking the H&M website from work. Pray for my sanity, and my scuba top!
I don’t care what purse is “IN” this season, or what Jennifer Fisher bracelet you’re obsessing over. The best accessory will always be the “perfect bangs.” Having your bangs cut is the most important haircut you will ever have. So, please please please, DO NOT cut your own bangs. I’ve tried it years ago, and it was a disaster.
After having bangs for over 10 years of my life, I think I’ve learned a few tricks. There are certain ways you have to maintain bangs. The best way is to use great products. My go to product for oily or limp bangs, is Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray. Spray a little at the root, and BAM… Life! This product can be used for giving texture and volume to hair as well.
Even if you DON’T have bangs, you need this product- ORIBE, Dry Texture Spray
My top 3 favorite products
- Shu Uemeura: Essence Absolue- Nourishing Cream
- Kérastase: Keratine Thermique- Eliminates frizz and leaves your hair soft and shiny
- Oribe: Dry Texturizing Spray- Add texture and volume to lifeless hair
